This past year brought a pair of significant events (among others!) for me. I achieved a life-long goal of publishing a book (you can find it here: Constitutional Inquisitors). I also began this Substack project. It has been ongoing since late September. The project has taught me much and I have enjoyed writing it. My hope was that it would grow and more people would be interested in reading it. I also hoped people would comment and share it. Those things have not happened. The readership has been small but steady. Consequently, I would like to improve this product. To do that, I need to hear from you! If you would, please take a moment to comment or message me about your thoughts and ideas about how to improve the product and make it more broadly appealing.
Looking ahead to this year, it will be a turbulent year in the realm of federal prosecution. There are two prosecutions against former President and Republican front-runner for President, Donald Trump, and one case against the current President’s son. Immigration prosecutions will continue. National security, which federal prosecutions help ensure, seems tenuous. Then there is a presidential election in which federal prosecution will play a part and will bring either a second Biden term or a transition involving a new Attorney General.
But, for today, happy New Year. Put struggles aside and enjoy the new year!
